Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This policy explains what personal information Shpati Construction Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects when you request a quote or get in touch with us — through our website, our quote forms, or by phone — and what we do with it. We do not sell your data.

Who We Are

Shpati Construction Ltd is a home improvement and construction company based in South London, providing kitchen, extension, and renovation services. For any questions about this policy or your data, see the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Information You Give Us

When you fill in a quote request form on our website, we ask for:

  • Name — first and last name
  • Phone number — so we can call you to discuss your project
  • Email address — optional, used for follow-up correspondence
  • Postcode — to confirm we cover your area
  • Project details — the type of work you're enquiring about (e.g. kitchen refit, extension), your rough timeline, and your budget range

If you call us directly, we'll also note down what we discuss so we can follow up properly.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website or quote form, some technical information is collected automatically:

DataWhat it's for
Browser & device information (user agent)Helps us understand how our site is used and troubleshoot issues
Facebook click identifiers (fbclid, fbc, fbp)If you arrived via a Facebook or Instagram ad, these let us measure whether that ad led to an enquiry
Submission timestampRecords when an enquiry was made

If you arrive at our site via a paid advert and don't fill in any form, we may still receive a basic, anonymised signal that an ad was clicked. This does not include your name, phone number, or any details about your project unless you go on to submit the form.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiry — calling or messaging you to discuss your project and arrange a free site survey or quote
  • To deliver our service — managing your project from quote through to completion, if you choose to work with us
  • To measure our advertising — understanding which ads led to genuine enquiries, so we can run more relevant, less wasteful advertising
  • To follow up — reasonable, non-pushy follow-up if you've requested a quote but haven't yet decided

Our Legal Basis for Processing

We process your contact and project details on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to an enquiry you've actively made — and, where you proceed with a project, to perform a contract with you. Where we use Facebook's advertising tools to measure ad performance, this relies on legitimate interest in running effective marketing, balanced against your privacy rights.

Cookies & Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies (_fbc, _fbp) in your browser if you arrive via a Facebook or Instagram advert. This helps us see which ads result in enquiries and lets Meta build a picture of ad performance on our behalf. We also send a server-side copy of enquiry events to Meta (via their Conversions API) to keep this measurement accurate even if cookies are blocked.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so won't stop you submitting a quote request — it just means we won't be able to tell which advert (if any) led you to us.

Who We Share Your Data With

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") to run our enquiry and quoting process. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

ProviderPurpose
Make.comAutomation platform that routes your enquiry from our website into our CRM
GoHighLevelOur customer relationship management (CRM) system, where your enquiry and project details are stored so our team can follow up
Meta (Facebook/Instagram)Receives a copy of enquiry events (not full project details) to measure ad performance, where you've arrived via a Meta advert

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, they are required to provide an adequate level of protection for your data (for example, through Standard Contractual Clauses).

How Long We Keep Your Data

If you enquire but don't proceed with a project, we'll keep your details for a reasonable period to allow for follow-up, after which they're deleted or anonymised. If you become a client, we keep project-related records for as long as necessary to deliver the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data, where there's no legal reason for us to keep it
  • Object to our use of your data for marketing purposes at any time
  • Withdraw consent, where consent is the basis for processing

To exercise any of these rights, just get in touch using the details below.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services or tools change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
